So my Spanish teacher got fired...
I heard that it was because she wasn’t teaching anybody anything, but there were also odd rumors, such as that a student had a headache and asked for some aspirin, and the teacher gave him her prescription of Advil. And other weird stories. Welp, our school only has 2 Spanish teachers now. (And one French teacher. Sadness.)

Sometimes I feel like a disgrace to my Chinese...
But hey, I wasn’t born in China. Who can blame me for not being able to speak Cantonese? I’m proud of my heritage, my Asian features, my family origins. But I’m also proud of my Spanish skills, my country, my appreciation of other cultures and languages, everything that I worked for here. And if those old Chinese people think me worthless because I can’t reply back to them...

So I got the full surgical repair of TOF as a baby. But it’s a fact that even people who got the full surgical repair end up having to have more surgery later on in life. So I wonder what will happen to me. I wonder why health problems seem to be my lot since birth.
